Nu presenteras denna vidareutveckling av den Oscars-belönade Volt för större Steadicam M-serie modeller: Volt-3 gimbal!
Volt-3 omfattar nu även kontroll av pan-axel (utöver Volts standard tilt & horisont) som därmed ger ännu större justerbar kontroll och t.ex. gör det möjligt att få samma känsla/motstånd i alla 3 axlar – eller helt olika om så önskas. Förutom nästan oändlig finjustering, kan man även programmera in olika inställningar i den nya Volt-3 gimbaln. Dessa aktiveras flygande med en enkel knapptryckning för omedelbar effekt, beroende på inspelningens natur.
Volt-3 är exklusiv för Steadicams egen M-serie.
Denna uppgradering gäller endast befintliga M-2-ägare och levereras med den helt nya Volt 3 gimbal, PCB och kontrollsystem med digital display. Uppgraderingen måste installeras av Hofmann Teknik AB. Den är inte tillgänglig för självinstallation eller för ägare av andra modeller/märken.

Exclusive to the Tiffen Steadicam M-Series Sleds, Volt 3 now features advanced pan axis control with simulated inertia and drag.

Why do I need Pan Axis Control?
Excellent for Slow Dolly-Like Push-Ins and Pull-Outs
The Volt 3 simulates the inertia of a heavily built payload or antlers— meaning push-ins and pull-outs feel smooth, weighted, and deliberate. It provides real tactile resistance to the operator AND the ability to remove that resistance with zero delay mid shot with presets, making slow, steady moves easier to control and more cinematic.

Achieve fluid, dolly-style camera movement in tight spaces and dynamic environments, without the setup time or adding weight.
Improved Operation in Wind and Challenging environments
One of the Volt 3’s standout features is its active stabilization of the pan axis, which prevents the rig from unintentionally drifting due to wind or environmental forces. Unlike traditional setups where a gust can slightly turn the sled, the Volt 3 adds resistance with electronic precision, letting the operator stay on target — even in unpredictable outdoor conditions while maintaining control.

Smooth While Running with the Rig
High-speed moves — like following a subject at a run — push any stabilizer to its limits. But with the Volt 3’s pan control and virtual inertia, the rig stays in the direction while absorbing motion, allowing the operator to run freely without fighting against sway or slop.

This upgrade only applies to existing M-2 owners and comes with the all new Volt 3 powered gimbal, stage board, and control systems with digital display.
