Wave 1 tillåter operatörer att komponera bilden samtidigt som man behåller en perfekt nivå horisont. Betz Wave 1 ger en stabiliserad horisont inom ett 25 ° intervall, vilket hjälper operatörer att bibehålla nivåer i svåra kamerapositioner som t.ex. whip pan, löpande tagningar, vid varierande vindförhållanden (blåsigt), bil monterat och även på båtar.
